Welcome to Mrs. Sefcik's 4th grade class!
This is my second year at Willow Creek and my second year of teaching. I grew up in Tomball, starting at Decker Prairie Elementary and graduated from Tomball High School in 2010. I began my studies as an educator at Angelina College on a softball scholarship. After 2 years, I continued my softball career at Concordia University Texas where I received my degree in Elementary Education (EC-6th) in May 2015.
My family still lives in Tomball. My sister attends Sam Houston State University, majoring in Mathematics, and my brother is a senior at Tomball High School. My husband is also a former Cougar who graduated in 2011. He recently received his degree in Management Science from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He is now working as a Project Manager in Houston. We recently got married this past May.
I have been working with children all my life and have always wanted to become a teacher. My goal is to not only educate, but to motivate and inspire my students. Creating a safe and secure environment for students to express themselves is very important. I want learning to be an exciting and enjoyable experience in order to promote life-long learners. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I am looking forward to an exciting year with everyone!
