Transportation Change Information |
| Please make sure your child knows how he or she is going home. If your child is to change regular transportation, a note must be submitted in the morning to the front office giving him or her permission. |

On the morning that you want to make a change, send a note to the homeroom teacher indicating how your child is to go home. Include the following information:- Full name of student
- Grade and homeroom teacher
- How the child is to go home
- Date begins and ends
- A phone number where you may be reached if there are any questions
- Sign and date the note
We cannot take any changes over the phone. If a change must be made during the day you may send a fax stating the above information.
In an emergency, please call a next-door neighbor to meet your child when he/she gets off the bus. The school is not able to baby-sit your child because you are late. Make arrangements ahead of time with a neighbor or the on-campus Cypress Creek YMCA program. |

Visitors Visitors please sign in at the front office and wear a “SCHOOL VISITOR” tag while on campus. For security reasons, please be reminded we will require your driver’s license to be scanned before being issued a visitor's tag. |
Parking Please park in the visitor parking lot in front of the school or on the side in the staff parking lot. Staff spaces are marked. The curbs painted red indicate NO PARKING. |
YMCA One of the parent friendly programs at Willow Creek Elementary School is the YMCA Before School/After School Day Care Program. This program is offered on a contract basis through a partnership between the YMCA and Tomball ISD, providing parents with a safe, secure after school program for their children. The YMCA program provides a variety of activities that support and extend the day’s learning activities, while still providing children with the necessary time to relax and play. | School Information |
| Nurse's Corner: All medications must be brought to school by a parent/guardian. This includes ALL over-the-counter medications such as cough drops, creams, Tylenol, etc. Medications brought in the backpack will be confiscated and locked in the clinic for parent to pick up. All medication must be brought in the original container and must not be expired. Medications must be signed in by parent/guardian using the permission form in the nurse's clinic. If a student is taking daily medication, it is the parent'guardian's responsibility to remember when refills are needed. Medication refills must be brought to the school in the original container. Medications not picked up at the end of the school year will be disposed of. |

Drop Off & Pickup Procedures: If for some reason you must bring your child to school please remember to leave early and follow these procedures. When dropping off or picking up your child please remember to use the front entrance not the bus entrance. For your safety and your child’s, please do not let your child off by the street or in the bus transportation lane. Please park in either one of our two parking lots which are located in the front or the side of the bus transportation drop-off. We ask that you escort your child to the front doors. |
Admissions New kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year in which they are enrolling. New first grade students must be 6 years old on or before September 1. Items needed for registration. - Legal Paper Work (Adoption, Custody, Guardianship, Birth Certificate-Certified Copy)
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency (One of the following: Electric/Gas/Water Bill, closing papers, mortgage loan booklet or lease agreement)
- Immunization Records
- Drivers License of person enrolling student
- Withdraw Form

Attendance State law requires that once children are enrolled in school, they must attend school regularly. To receive credit in a class, a student must attend at least 90% of the days the class is offered. This includes tardies as well as leaving school early. Instruction begins at 8:50 and ends at 3:50. Please make every effort to have your child at school during these hours every day. |
Parent Communication Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher in writing or by phone during his or her conference time listed below. Each week your child will bring home a WEDNESDAY FOLDER filled with graded schoolwork, notices and his or her progress report. When you receive your child’s WEDNESDAY FOLDER, please do the following: - Review the graded work and progress report with your child.
- Read notices and respond if necessary.
- Return ONLY the signed Progress Report and notice response(s) on Thursday. Report cards will be issued after each nine-week grading period.
