                    Sneak Peek: 2019-20 Challenge Overviews

Description of club: 3rd and 4th graders who are interested in an extracurricular activity involving creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and performing.

Days/Time club meets:   Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:50 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (sometimes later). Parents must provide transportation for DI tryouts and all DI practices.

Requirements (if any): DI members must attend every practice because this is a team effort and we need every member present in order to be productive.  Students must commit to the entire year of DI because each team member is vital to our success. If we win our Regional tournament, we will continue practicing for the State tournament. If we win the State tournament, we will continue practicing for Globals in May!

How will participants be selected:  Students will audition to participate in DI. Only 7 students can be selected for a team. Teacher recommendation, passing grades, and good behavior are also required. If your child is already involved in extracurricular/ school activities, DI may not be suitable for them, as it is a big commitment of time.

Any special events your club will participate in:  We will attend the Regional tournament in February 22nd at Klein Cain High School.  If we win, we will travel to Arlington for the State tournament sometime in March/April.  If we advance even further, we will attend Globals in Kansas City, Missouri May 20-23rd.
